TMSL Jerome M. Karam Moot Court Room named in special ceremony
The Thurgood Marshall School of Law (TMSL) Moot Court Room received a new, permanent designation April 17, when the Jerome M. Karam Moot Court Room was unveiled in a special naming ceremony.
Jerome M. Karam is a TMSL alumni and Galveston area attorney and businessman. He has supported TMSL students through scholarships and other giving throughout the years.
“I’m excited to be an alumni of TMSL and I love to give back to current and future students,” Karam said. “It is an honor to have my name permanently etched in the Moot Court Room at my alma mater, because without this school I’m not sure what I would be doing. Here is where I acquired the tools and skills that has navigated me through my career.”
Special guests included Karam and his family and friends, TSU President Austin Lane, TMSL Dean James Douglas, and distinguished TMSL student ambassadors, alumni and friends.
